In this story of hope, struggle, perseverance and joy, the Playing For Change team traveled the globe with a single minded passion to connect the world through music. Their ambitious journey took them from post-apartheid South Africa, through the ancient sites of the Middle East, to the remote beauty of the Himalayas and beyond.

Along the way, they filmed and recorded more than 100 musicians, largely outdoors in parks, plazas and promenades, in doorways, on cobblestone streets and amid hilly pueblos. Each captured performance creates a new mix in which the artists are essentially all performing together, albeit hundreds or thousands of miles apart. This is the story of an unparalleled international musical collaboration and its remarkable power of redemption.

Join us before the show for our second annual Pot Luck Dinner and Raffle. Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 each or 5 for $20. Proceeds will help us continue the Free Film Series for the benefit of St John. Thanks for your continued support!

Bring a dish to share and a comfy chair…and get ready to Raffle!

Chairs will be provided, although seating will be limited. St John Film recommends that you arrive early and bring a cushion to put in your seat. It just feels nicer! If you plan on arriving late, it’s always best to bring your own beach chair.
